Schaeffler India launches locally manufactured FAG SNV housings range

Launch to expand existing industrial housing portfolio in the country

Leading industrial and automotive supplier, Schaeffler India (formerly FAG Bearings India) has launched its new range of FAG SNV Housings. SNV Housings are the new Plummer block housings that are quick to mount and easy to lubricate. Schaeffler India has launched SNV Housings with an aim to provide similar German quality products manufactured locally.

SNV Housings� application includes agricultural machinery, paper processing industry, mining, materials processing and steel industry as well as power stations. The newly launched housings provide a host of benefits including reduced installation time, reduced maintenance, longer rolling bearing life, simplifying stock holding due to modular concept and more. The new range of housings are particularly easy to install and replace. It is no longer necessary to use special housing designs in many standard applications.

The new range of housings will be made available through Schaeffler India’s existing Industrial Distribution Network as well as directly for OE requirements.
