CRI Solar Wins Rs 2.1 Billion Solar Pump Orders

CRI Solar, a division of CRI Pumps, has secured orders worth Rs 2.1 billion for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 6,894 solar-powered pumping systems. The contracts were awarded by the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), and Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA).

These projects aim to bolster irrigation infrastructure in India’s agricultural regions by integrating renewable energy solutions. CRI Solar will commence deployment as per each agency's timeline, leveraging its expertise in executing large-scale solar pumping systems with high quality and precision.

CRI Group Chairman, Mr G. Soundararajan, noted that the achievement marks a major step towards enabling clean and sustainable water access in rural India, supporting the nation's goals of energy efficiency and agricultural advancement.

With over 181,000 solar pumps and IoT-enabled smart systems already installed across the country, CRI’s solutions have helped save over 6,100 million kWh of energy and reduced carbon emissions by more than 4.8 million tonnes.
