Setco Automotive Limited, one of India’s largest manufacturers of clutches for medium and heavy commercial vehicles (MHCVs), has expanded into the suspension segment with the launch of the Load Cushion and Torque Rod Bush. This strategic move reinforces Setco’s position as a premium truck component supplier, focused on durability, performance, and engineering excellence.

Both products are designed to improve vehicle stability, shock absorption, and ride comfort, especially across challenging terrains. Manufactured using high-grade rubber and robust rubber-to-metal bonding, they offer long-term reliability for both OEMs and the aftermarket.

Used in bogie suspension systems of HCVs, tippers, and trailers, the Load Cushion sits between the chassis and axle or leaf spring assembly. It absorbs vertical loads and road shocks, maintaining structural balance and comfort.

Key features:

Installed at both ends of the torque rod connecting the axle to the chassis, the Torque Rod Bush absorbs road shocks and vibrations, helping maintain alignment under braking or load shifts. It supports axle articulation in tough terrain and contributes to NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) control.
