Real estate major K Raheja Corp concluded its latest community initiative under the 鈥楾ime Off for Volunteering鈥� programme, titled Paint a Pair, Show You Care. Held in association with NGO ConnectFor, the campaign was part of a larger 'Back to School' drive aimed at supporting underprivileged students from the Jhanvi Charitable Trust. 

More than 45 employees from across group companies鈥擬indspace Business Parks, Chalet Hotels Ltd., K Raheja Corp 亚博体育官网首页s, and Inorbit Malls鈥攃ame together to hand-paint over 60 pairs of canvas shoes for children preparing to return to school. Volunteers also curated stationery kits and customised notebooks, benefiting students from five municipal schools in the city. 

Adding a special touch, 10 children from Mumbai Public School, Chandivali, participated in the painting activity, enhancing the sense of community and inclusion. 

Urvi Aradhya, Chief Human Resources Officer, K Raheja Corp, said, 鈥淭he 鈥楾ime Off for Volunteering鈥� initiative reflects our commitment to giving back through employee-led interventions. Activities like these demonstrate how small acts can make a big difference.鈥�

Volunteers shared enthusiastic feedback, calling the experience 鈥渉eartwarming鈥�, 鈥減urposeful鈥�, and 鈥渁 great way to bond while giving back鈥�. 

K Raheja Corp鈥檚 Time Off for Volunteering policy offers employees up to six days of paid leave annually to engage in community service. Employees are encouraged to support NGOs of their choice, subject to eligibility criteria. 

The initiative underscores the company鈥檚 ongoing efforts to build a socially responsible and empathetic work culture, encouraging employees to contribute to causes that create lasting impact.
