On August 19, 2016, profine India celebrated the foundation stone laying ceremony of its new ultra-modern state-of-the-art extrusion facility. The foundation stone was laid by Farid Khan, Director & CEO of the company and he said, 鈥淭his is our further investment initiative towards the Make in India campaign and the trust in this vibrant Indian market. In a span of three years, when we first started our local production in Vadodara, we have gained in confidence and the result of this success is what you are seeing in the shape of this today鈥檚 foundation stone laying ceremony, which will ultimately transform in to another world-class production facility to be completed by March 2017.鈥� The new facility is being developed in approx 20,000 sq m at Plot No.731-A, Savli Industrial Area, GIDC Manjusar, Vadodara, Gujarat. The said premises of having a bigger production and ancillary area with advanced extrusion machines and tools from Germany are to ensure the quality production and delivery of right profile in the right place at the right time. The motive behind this investment is to further strengthen the company鈥檚 production and service capacity in India. This is yet another milestone in the journey towards leadership of u-PVC window and door profile manufacturing in this Indian subcontinent. From today鈥檚 extrusion plant that is well equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing facility having production capacity of 5000 MT from five extrusion lines and one lamination or foiling line, profine India is geared up for12 extrusion lines and two lamination or foiling lines in its new facility, which will have a production capacity of 15,000 MT pa of u-PVC profiles. profine India Window Technology, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of profine Group, Germany, represented Internationally. profine is the world-wide leading manufacturer of u-PVC window, door profiles and PVC sheets.
