International Mining And Machinery Exhibition 2016

India´s largest and focussed trade fair for the mining sector, the 13th edition of the International Mining & Machinery Exhibition (IMME) will be held from November 16-19, 2016.

The International Mining & Machinery Exhibition (IMME) is India´s largest and focussed trade fair for the mining sector.

Presently in its 13th edition, this year, the expo is scheduled to be held from November 16-19, 2016, at the Eco Park, Rajarhat in Kolkata.

The big exhibitors
Several large companies will be participating as exhibitors at IMME 2016. These include Caterpillar, Tata Hitachi, L&T-Komatsu, JCB, BEML, Case New Holland, BKT, Mahindra, Liebherr, Volvo, SREI, Leeboy, Voltas, Joy Mining, Atlas Copco, Sandvik, ABB, and many more.

Government engagement
Adding to the glory of the event will be Chaudhary Birender Singh, Minister of Steel, Government of India; Balvinder Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Government of India; and S Bhattacharya, Chairman, Coal India, who have in-principle confirmed their presence at IMME 2016.

The Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Steel, Ministry of Coal, and Coal India, have also extended their formal support to the event.

Coal India will be participating at the exhibition and are also looking at conducting meetings with their subsidiaries´ CEOs during IMME 2016. Further, the Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Government of India, is also participating as an exhibitor at IMME 2016.

International participation
Several large and important brands have confirmed their participation including eight international associations who are promoting country pavilions at the event. The West Bengal Mineral Development & Trading Corporation and Odisha Mining Corporation have extended their support to the event with the confirmation of a large space in the exhibition.
