Adani to add 4,000 MW in 2011-2012

Adani Power expects to add a maximum of 4,000 MW capacity in 2011-12. The company will add 2,640 MW in Mundra and 1,320 MW at Tiroda. Adani Power currently has a total of 2,000 MW under operations, and the addition will take it to around 6,000 MW by the end of 2011-12. Its January-March net profit rose by 78 per cent to Rs 1.74 bn.
