JSW Energy has announced a new power purchase agreement (PPA) with West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL) for a Greenfield 1,600 MW (2 x 800 MW) supercritical thermal power plant. The plants are strategically located near coal blocks, ensuring lower operational costs.

JSW Energy is focused on power generation, with key locations in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal.
