KEC International, an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company, announced on Friday that it has received new orders worth Rs 1,025 crore across its various businesses.
According to a filing to the BSE, the RPG Group's transmission and distribution business has received orders for projects in India and the Middle East.
According to the company, its civil business has received an order for infrastructure work in India's metals and mining sector.
Oil and gas pipelines, as well as smart infrastructure, are two other industries from which the company has received orders.
In India, the Railways business has been awarded a contract for 2 x 25 kV OverHead Electrification (OHE) and related works for speed up-gradation.
The Smart Infra business has received an order for Smart City Components as a Master System Integrator (MSI) for three smart cities in India.
In India and overseas, the Cables division has received orders for various types of cables.
On a consolidated basis, the company reported a 44% drop in net profit to Rs 80 crore in Q2 FY22 over Q2 FY21, despite a 10% increase in revenue to Rs 3,587 crore.
