Raghavpur Project in MP gets environmental clearance

Afcons Infrastructure has received environmental clearance for the Raghavpur Multipurpose Project in Madhya Pradesh鈥檚 Dindori district, awarded by the Narmada Valley Development Authority. The project includes the construction of a dam and a 25 MW powerhouse on the Narmada River, along with a pressurised piped irrigation system to serve 17,587 hectares of farmland.

The clearance was granted by the Madhya Pradesh State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), marking a key milestone. The project aims to boost both clean energy and agricultural output by integrating hydropower generation with micro-irrigation systems.

Afcons Infrastructure, part of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group, will also handle land acquisition and R&R formalities. The company has deployed senior personnel to ensure smooth execution, including Project Director RK Singh and Arumugam Sabapathy.
