Wilo, Masdar forge strategic green energy alliance

Multinational technology group Wilo has signed a cooperation agreement with Abu Dhabi-based Masdar, the UAE鈥檚 leading clean energy company, to jointly drive renewable energy adoption and energy efficiency initiatives. The agreement marks the start of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening both firms鈥� presence across the Middle East and other global markets.
The signing took place at Wilo鈥檚 newly expanded production facility in Dubai and was witnessed by Hendrik W眉st, Minister-President of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany, during his delegation鈥檚 visit to the region.
Oliver Hermes, President and CEO of the Wilo Group, highlighted the partnership as a model response to the global energy crisis. 鈥淓xpanding renewable generation and energy efficiency must go hand in hand,鈥� he said, underscoring the role of strong collaborations in addressing climate challenges.
Husain Al Meer, Director Global Offshore Wind & UK at Masdar, described the partnership as a synergy of Masdar鈥檚 green energy expertise and Wilo鈥檚 energy-efficient heating and cooling technologies. 鈥淭his agreement aligns with our vision for a cleaner, more efficient world and deepens our ties with Germany,鈥� he said.
