Dubai government-owned global port operator DP World has tapped the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) and Axis Bank for a Rs 35 billion loan to build a 2.19 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) capacity terminal estimated to cost Rs 42.4364 billion at Tuna Tekra in Deendayal Port in Gujarat. The National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development and Axis Bank have agreed to extend the term loan facility of Rs 17.5 billion each to the project with Axis Bank approving another Rs 1.4 billion as guarantee facility and Rs 1.5 billion as hedge facility, enabling DP World to achieve financial closure for the project.Contact: NaBFIDEmail: [email protected]: www.nabfid.org
