LiuGong, a prominent heavy machinery manufacturer, has made a notable foray into the U.S. market with the introduction of its robust 995F excavator. This substantial machine, weighing 95 metric tons, boasts a formidable 608-horsepower Perkins engine and comes equipped with a heavy-duty 7.3-cubic-yard rock bucket.
The 995F excavator is designed for optimal performance, offering a maximum digging depth of 23 feet 7 inches and an impressive digging reach of 41 feet. Reinforced boom and arm structures enhance its structural integrity, while both front and rear boom plates have been fortified for durability.
Operational precision is achieved through electro-hydraulic controls, offering three distinct operating modes: Economy, Standard, and Power. Notable features include auto idle and auto shutdown functions that conserve fuel by intelligently turning off the engine after a period of inactivity. The auto boost feature provides the excavator with a 9% hydraulic power surge, assisting in challenging terrain navigation. A standout feature of the 995F excavator is its innovative side-by-side cooling system, designed for easy maintenance and featuring a reversible variable-speed fan to expel debris.
Operator comfort and convenience are prioritised through a FOPS pressurised cab equipped with amenities like a heated air-suspension seat, Bluetooth media system, A/C vents, and practical features such as a cupholder, phone charger, and cooler.
LiuGong has enhanced the excavator's capabilities, focusing on digging force, cycle times, and fuel efficiency. The hydraulic fluid offers a notable 5,000-hour service life, with the hydraulic fluid filter replaced every 1,000 hours for optimal performance.
The LiuGong 995F excavator is designed to excel in productivity and functionality, with ergonomic controls, all-around visibility, and thoughtful maintenance features. This move represents a significant step for LiuGong in establishing its presence in the U.S. market.
