Interiors and design exhibition INDEX celebrates its 30th anniversary

Celebrating the 30th edition of India’s leading international interiors and design show, Index Fairs, will be held at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. It will showcase the powerful new partnership between India’s pioneering industry event, presenting Index Fairs, in the presence of leading industry members, designers, celebrities and other dignitaries. The four-day show � from May 3-6 � is set to see a focused trade, business and professional visitor from India and overseas.
Where the industry meets!
The show will boast over 325 companies promoting over 2,500 brands, including presence from 10 countries including Italy, German, China, Korea, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia and others, along with prestigious and well renowned brands Indian brands. The fair aims to connect manufacturers and traders dealing in furniture and fittings, OEM white goods, accessories, lighting and a complete range of materials, kitchen, office and hardware for contract use, with architects, interior designers, and builders, project managers, and consultants, procurement heads across the hospitality, corporate, government sectors.
Index has been supported by important industry and professional associations such as the All India Hardware Association (AIHA), Hospitality Purchasing Managers Forum (HPMF), several associations of Interior Designers and Architects (IIID) and the association of builders and real estate developers, NAREDCO.

FAD ! Furniture, Art & Design
Striking a rare balance between intimacy and scale, Index Fairs will showcase its trademark line up of design-led and commercial companies with a striking range of furniture, accessories, lighting and objects d’art in focused pavilions : The India Design Pavilion [IDP], Indian Furniture, Furnishings & Artifacts [IFFA] Pavilion as well as country pavilions and the Art Enclave, in association with Aura Art.
Contract
This well-established section caters to project demand market, where architects can directly specify products for projects will see a very professional line-up of offerings in the kitchen and workspace segments, with impressive offerings in office from Korea and new launches from several companies. The Ceramics of India pavilion continues to show only the latest and most innovative products, in a designated zone. A materials pavilion showcases a wide range of material offerings from glass to ply and laminated wood.
Inter-Furn
Index Interfurn is now an institution in itself being the largest trade platform and meeting point for the entire architectural and furniture hardware industry. Specialist traders and sourcing agencies come to Interfurn from all across India and the sub continent to source material for retail and projects, while the industry at large takes the opportunity to meet and interact at this great focused platform.
Art and design appreciation
The Art Enclave, in association with Aura Art, will showcase the work of artists and galleries across India with display of fine art, sculpture and photography.
The India Design Pavilion which doubles its presence from last year, is one of the most exciting spaces at the fair. IDP offers a focused platform to Indian designers to show their modern and innovative design in a 21st century context.
The Kudos Gallery will salute great work through project displays of eminent architects and builders.
