Clutches
GKN Land Systems offers a wide variety of clutches characterised by high performance and innovative components. It enables to increase the efficiency of drive systems and offers a high power density, thus reducing the installation space required. The clutch portfolio ranges from electric and hydraulic-pneumatic models, all the way to multi-disc synchro-clutches and innovative flexible couplings. Special overload and overrunning clutches are used for agricultural machineries.
Walterscheid clutches Employing Walterscheid products offers the assurance of obtaining a perfect drive shaft and clutch for all applications and requirements. Shut-off-clutches are used for forage wagons, stable manure spreaders, round balers, rotary harrows, field choppers and snow blowers. Friction clutches or combined friction overrunning clutches are used in high pressure balers, blowers, rotary tillers or rotary mowers. Star ratchet clutches are suited for the lower output range of stable manure spreaders, forage wagons, rotary rakes, rotary tedders, rotary windrowers, sugar beet or potato harvesters, and cutting tools.
