BL Kashyap wins orders worth Rs 158 crores

BL Kashyap & Sons, a leading engineering procurement and construction (EPC) firm, has received two orders totaling Rs 158 crore for construction, civil, and structural work. The new orders bring the total order book to around Rs 2089 crore. The contracts call for the development of a Business Park Campus and a residential complex in Bengaluru.

"The construction industry is facing exciting times, especially post-pandemic," said Vineet Kashyap, Managing Director of B L Kashyap & Sons. We see a revival in the sector with an increase in construction projects.

As a strategy, BLK is shifting away from contracting and focusing more on end users, specifically large blue chip companies. "We're seeing a shift from road infrastructure players into the building infrastructure space, which could be a growing trend in the coming years," Kashyap said.

Drones are being used by the company to remotely monitor project sites, which improves efficiency and quality. In India, the company has a presence in 12 cities and 8 states, with a portfolio that includes IT Campuses, Commercial Spaces, Malls, Hotels, Residential Complexes, Institutions, Factories and Manufacturing Facilities, Healthcare, and Transportation.
