CDSL acquires 2 floors in Mumbai’s Marathon Futurex complex

Central Depository Services Ltd (CDSL) has acquired two floors of office space comprising over 46,000 sq ft carpet area in the Marathon Futurex commercial tower in Mumbai’s Lower Parel district for Rs 1.63 billion.

The company has paid stamp duty of Rs 97.90 million for the registration of the deals that took place on December 14.

As part of the deal, CDSL will also get exclusive use of 31 car parking slots in the commercial complex, showed the documents accessed through CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm.

The developer Marathon Nextgen Realty has also launched a commercial tower in Mulund suburb of Mumbai and is planning another commercial tower at Byculla in Central Mumbai through a joint venture with Adani Realty, the listed company said in a regulatory filing.
