Govt nods six town planning schemes in three Gujarat cities

The Gujarat Chief Minister has sanctioned six town planning schemes in three cities of Gujarat.

Bhupendra Patel, Gujarat chief minister, sanctioned one preliminary TP scheme - one final TP scheme of Surat, one preliminary TP scheme - Two final TP schemes of Ahmedabad and one draft TP scheme of Vadodara. The two preliminary TP schemes nodded by Patel comprise TP Scheme No. 429 (Godhavi-Manipur) under Auda in Ahmedabad and TP Scheme No. 71 (Vadod) of Surat Municipal Corporation. One draft TP scheme nodded by CM is TP Scheme No. 43 (Undera-Ankodia) of Vadodara Urban Development Authority. Among the three final TP schemes sanctioned by the CM are Surat TP Scheme No.26 (Singapore) and Ahmedabad's TP Scheme No. 4-A (Sanand), and Scheme No. 94 (Hathijan-Ropada).

With the permission of Draft TP Scheme No. 43 of Vadodara Urban Development Authority 22.18-hectare land, with the sanction of Preliminary TP Scheme No. 429 of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority 55.47-hectare land, and with the sanction of Preliminary TP Scheme No. 71 of Surat Municipal Corporation 15.83-hectare land will be procured. By approving these town planning schemes, CM has realised the solution of the state government to keep the advancement of Gujarat's cities on a fast track.
