Westcon Space Acquires 4 Hectares in Pune's Wagholi

Westcon Space Private Limited, a subsidiary of Solitaire Group, has acquired nearly 10 acres of land in Pune鈥檚 Wagholi area for ?1.29 billion, according to property registration documents reviewed by Propstack.com.

The land purchase, made through four separate transactions on February 6, 2025, involved a total stamp duty payment of ?90 million, along with a registration fee of ?120,000.

The land was sold by the Shitale family and two individuals, Anuradha NDD and Jaymala Navkishore. Attempts to reach Westcon Space and the sellers for comment were unsuccessful.

Wagholi, a northeastern suburb of Pune, is becoming an attractive hub for both residential and commercial investments. Surrounded by prominent IT companies, it is positioned near Kharadi, one of Pune鈥檚 busiest commercial districts.

Property rates in Wagholi are also rising, with residential apartments priced around ?10,000 per square foot. Rent for a 2 BHK apartment in the area ranges from ?20,000 to ?30,000 per month, according to local brokers.

This acquisition follows a similar deal in Pune, where Prestige Estates鈥 subsidiary, Prestige Exora Business Parks Ltd, purchased 4.57 acres in Kharadi for ?2 billion in April 2024.

The demand for land in top cities like Pune has surged by 47% in 2024, with over 2,000 acres of land changing hands across major metropolitan areas, as noted in a CBRE India report.
