After successfully executing a variety of projects for a highly discerning clientele like Amazon, Infosys, Google, Tata and so on, Narsi Group has launched its magnificent, state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility at Turbhe in Navi Mumbai. This factory is spread over 1.25 lakh sq ft and caters to all project needs of their existing sites across the country.
Narsi Group believes in producing intelligent and memorable solutions in response to varied client needs. Their design is meticulous, clean and beyond ordinary. Staying true to their ethos, Narsi has designed the new plant. Putting their best foot forward, the plant is designed to stand as a paragon of the company鈥檚 creative and constructional capabilities.
The entrance to the factory greets you with massive doors, Narsi flags and a beautiful, bright orange, glass-covered front fa莽ade which sets this larger than life structure apart. The grandeur of the place can be felt from the very first steps into the structure. The bright interiors make for a great view, be it morning or night. The first half of the facility is bifurcated into three main floors and has it all. Upon entering, you see the widely spaced reception area. To its right is a waiting area, where the chairs reset amidst an in-lit mini pond and to its left is a voluminous product showcase space. The lofty walls are beautifully conceptualised, one displaying carpentry tools that depicts the evolution of carpentry as an art form, and the other displaying inspirational quotes and chair designs by famous designers like Hans Wegner, George Nelson, Charles R Mackintosh and so on.
Moving ahead, the ground floor also boasts of a one-of-its-kind tech-savvy experiential center for visitors and clients. Equipped with three full touch display stations used for presentations, it also showcases the timeline of Narsi鈥檚 accomplishments since its inception. This floor houses encapsulated mini-conference rooms and a wide workstation as well. A beautiful floating spiral staircase, made of high density fibre, connects all the three floors.
The second floor occupies an upscale conference room displaying a beautiful stick chandelier ceiling made of more than 750 pipes and is equipped with 62 inches screen for a smooth video conferencing experience. It also has the designers鈥 workspace surrounded by awe-inspiring wooden carvings, a lobby overlooking the showcase area and the manufacturing floor. The cabin of Jagdish Kularia, Director, Narsi Group, on this floor, is inspired from wood art and is as raw as it gets. This radiant place looks like a galaxy full of stars in the evening.
The cherry on the cake is Managing Director Narsi Kularia鈥檚 cabin on the top most floor. His workstation here is carved out of single-wood. What further adds to the beauty of the cabin is the 360-degree view it offers of the whole plant. Little elements in the factory like a rare to find charkha from Jagarnathpuri speaks volumes of the fact that Narsi, though leaping into the future, is deeply rooted in their Indian beliefs and traditions.
The manufacturing unit that forms the other half of the site is designed to perfection as well. Keeping in mind the main goal 鈥 boosting productivity, every area of the building has been strategically placed and inter-connected for smooth functioning of everyday activities. In short, the whole facility is designed to tighten the effectiveness and the efficiency of employees.
With a 4 x 2 cotta marble flooring and an entrance width of 40 m wide x 90 m long, the factory is a sight to behold with high-tech German and Italian made machineries. Every machine here is connected with LAN and thus can be controlled from anywhere across the plant and even left to work overnight. The sensors surrounding the machines turn it off every time a human being comes close to it, thereby safeguarding every employee. The saw dust that is collected by the Dust Collector in the factory is used for making briquettes that are further used by industries for heating of boilers, ensuring a healthier environment. The other wooden waste is also used to make furniture out of waste wood. This floor also has a section where certified skill development training takes place, as a part of Narsi鈥檚 association with 鈥楽kill India鈥 campaign.
The Narsi Group has always emphasised on aesthetic appeal and reliability and this is evident from the design of their factory. One has to see it to believe it!
