There is a story behind every celebration and September 15 has its own tale to narrate. Commemorated as Engineer麓s Day in India, this marks the birth anniversary of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, Knight Commander of the Indian Empire (KCIE), popularly known as Sir MV. A notable Indian engineer, scholar, statesman and the Diwan of Mysore during 1912 to 1918, he was a pre-eminent engineer of India. The chief designer of the flood protection system for Hyderabad in Telangana, Sir MV has also constructed the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mandya, among others. What麓s more, he has been a recipient of the Bharat Ratna award in 1955. Dassault To Build Falcon Jets In India With Reliance

Reliance Infrastructure Ltd鈥檚 subsidiary, Reliance Aerostructure, has signed an agreement with France鈥檚 Dassault Aviation to manufacture Falcon 2000 business jets in India, with the first batch expected to roll out from its Nagpur facility by 2028.
