Jaipur plans 14 projects worth Rs 2,229 crore

Jaipur � India’s wonder city � is in the making with14 projects worth Rs 2,229 crore to be implemented in the next two years. Part of the 14 projects will be the conversion of Amanishah Nala into its original form of Dravyawati river. The project is being undertaken by Jaipur Development Authority, Tata Projects and Shanghai Urban Construction Group with an estimated Rs 1,676 crore. It aims to make the 47-km long water body pollution-free and beautiful. Additionally, plantation of 16,000 saplings in 65,000 sq m will be a part of the river beautification.
 
The state government is working towards the development of the state and such projects will definitely take the city of Jaipur and the state forward in years to come. Among other projects, a 2.8 km long elevated road from LIC building to Sodala; RoBs in Sitapura, Dantli and Jahota; Engineering Staff Training Institute; development of 100 parks; and sylvan project phase-II have also been launched.
