BharatBenz Ties Up with Gainwell for Mining Truck Sales

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has announced a new strategic partnership with Gainwell Trucking Private Limited (GTPL) to serve as an authorised channel partner for BharatBenz mining trucks, with a strong focus on the high-performance 3532CM (8x4) model. The partnership covers both sales and after-sales service across India’s key mining regions.

GTPL will cater to major mining zones including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and the northern, eastern, and north-eastern states, addressing transport demands in iron ore, coal, and limestone operations. Service centres will offer full maintenance, on-site repairs, express servicing, and access to a robust spare parts inventory to reduce vehicle downtime.

DICV’s President & Chief Business Officer, Rajiv Chaturvedi, stated, “This partnership strengthens BharatBenz’s position in the mining and infrastructure sectors. It ensures a premium ownership experience through enhanced service support and quicker turnaround times, ultimately improving operational efficiency.

GTPL’s Chairman and MD, Sunil Chaturvedi, added, “Our collaboration with DICV reflects our commitment to offering world-class support in the mining segment. Together, we aim to deliver complete solutions that drive customer growth and sectoral excellence.

The BharatBenz 3532CM model is powered by a BS-VI compliant OM926 engine delivering 320 hp and 1,250 Nm of torque, available with both manual and AMT options. With loadbody options of 18/19 Cu.m scoop or 27 Cu.m coal body, the truck is designed for tough mining applications.

This alliance is expected to expand further into infrastructure segments, bolstering BharatBenz’s reach and support across India’s heavy-duty commercial vehicle landscape.
