Copeland, a global leader in sustainable climate solutions, showcased its new and advanced range of refrigeration and monitoring solutions for the dairy, seafood, commercial farming, food retail and quick-service-restaurant, and pharmaceutical sectors at the recently concluded Refcold 2024. India's premier cold chain and refrigeration industry event, Refcold 2024, led industry conversations on safeguarding food with innovative technologies as its key theme. Nearly half of the 1.3 billion tons of global food wasted each year could be prevented with fully refrigerated food supply chains. Copeland, as a refrigeration and cold chain industry leader, highlighted its scroll inverter solutions to support solar and other renewable-powered cold rooms, enabling remote farms with inadequate grid power supply to safeguard the produce efficiently. In addition, Copeland underscored its ‘Make in India� commitment for refrigeration solutions and showcased its advanced vapor injection technology to support dairy, seafood and food retail customers achieve high energy efficiency and reduce operational savings in tropical climate conditions. As a part of the industry showcase, Copeland launched its new ZB refrigeration scroll compressor technology, offering up to 8% higher efficiency on average over the existing product line and superior reliability for medium and high-temperature applications. The new generation compressor technology helps Indian customers upgrade their products to deliver best-in-class seasonal energy efficiency. “Raising the technological bar is at the core of our business.
