Ecom Express Unveils ‘Pragati to Upskill 4,000+ Employees

Ecom Express Limited, India’s only pure-play B2C e-commerce logistics solutions provider, has launched Pragati, a comprehensive learning and development program aimed at enhancing the skills of over 4,000 Delivery Center Managers (DCMs) across its last-mile operations. The initiative is part of the company’s strategy to empower employees with training in logistics, supply chain management, and behavioral skills.

Using a hybrid learning model, Pragati offers classroom sessions, virtual modules, and self-paced learning through E-Pathshaala, a Learning Management System (LMS) designed to promote scalable growth opportunities.

The program’s core framework evaluates employees based on performance and potential, enabling the creation of tailored career development plans. It also identifies high-potential external talent for leadership roles and provides upskilling opportunities for existing employees to enhance their capabilities and drive business growth.

Additionally, Pragati focuses on local hiring across over 3,500 locations to minimize relocation challenges and ensure seamless integration of talent within local teams. This approach supports Ecom Express’s vision of building a skilled, future-ready workforce capable of delivering operational excellence.

Swati Mor, CHRO, Ecom Express, commented on the initiative, stating, “Pragati is not just a training initiative but a pathway to transform last-mile logistics by developing a highly skilled and motivated workforce. By providing structured learning paths and certifications, we aim to create a culture of continuous development and operational excellence. This initiative not only supports our internal teams but also creates opportunities for fresh talent to join and grow with Ecom Express. Through Pragati, we are committed to building a resilient and future-ready workforce that aligns with our mission to redefine logistics in India.

The Pragati program is divided into two key domains:

Product and Process: Focusing on functional logistics and supply chain expertise. Behavioral Skills: Enhancing effective management of blue-collar teams. By investing in talent acquisition and skill development, Ecom Express is setting new benchmarks in last-mile logistics while contributing to a sustainable logistics ecosystem.
