Hyundai Posts Strong SUV and Rural Sales in November

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported impressive sales for November 2024, with a total of 61,252 units sold. This includes 48,246 domestic sales and 13,006 exports. The company's focus on SUVs and rural markets, coupled with its Hy-CNG technology, drove this success.

SUVs accounted for a dominant 68.8% of Hyundai’s domestic sales, reinforcing its leadership in the segment. Rural markets also hit a milestone, contributing a record 22.1% of domestic sales. Additionally, CNG vehicles made up 14.4% of the total sales, highlighting the impact of HMIL’s Hy-CNG Duo technology.

From January to November 2024, Hyundai achieved year-to-date sales of 709,041 units. Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and COO of HMIL, stated, "Our push towards fortifying SUV supremacy and expanding in rural markets has driven strong results. Our Hy-CNG technology continues to boost CNG sales, making Hyundai a preferred choice in diverse markets."

This strategic expansion underscores Hyundai’s adaptability and innovation, securing its position as a market leader in India.
