QpiAI launches India’s first 25-qubit quantum computer

QpiAI, a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup selected under the National Quantum Mission, launched one of India’s most powerful quantum computers with 25 superconducting qubits on World Quantum Day.

Named QpiAI-Indus, the system is India’s first full-stack quantum computing platform, integrating quantum processors, HPC software, and AI-driven solutions for hybrid computing.

The company is applying quantum tech to sectors like life sciences, drug discovery, logistics, sustainability, and climate action.

Founded in 2019, QpiAI has filed 11 patents, earns approximately Rs 1 million annually, and has secured funding from SIDBI. As a key player in India's quantum push, it aims to build a national ecosystem for adoption, talent, and innovation.

With this launch, QpiAI joins the global momentum toward a quantum-powered future that supports scientific breakthroughs and next-gen industrial applications.
