VECV & Statiq Partner for EV Charging

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has announced a strategic partnership with Statiq, a prominent EV charging solutions provider, to significantly accelerate the adoption of electric commercial vehicles in India. This collaboration aims to provide a seamless and accessible charging experience for Eicher electric truck and bus users, particularly for the newly launched Eicher Pro X range of Small Commercial Vehicles.

Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Statiq will become VECV’s preferred partner, offering end-to-end charging solutions, including hardware supply and installation of AC and DC chargers, connected services, and public charging access. Eicher customers will gain access to Statiq’s extensive aggregated network of over 8,000 charging points across the country, simplifying and speeding up the charging process.

A key aspect of this alliance is the integration of Statiq’s network into the MyEicher app, VECV’s connected fleet management solution. This industry-first integration will provide users with real-time visibility of charging stations, intelligent navigation assistance, and transparent tariff information. To further encourage EV adoption, both companies will introduce promotional offers and preferential tariffs for Eicher truck and bus operators.

Abhishek Chaudhary, SVP, Sales & Marketing, Small Commercial Vehicles, VECV, commented: “Our partnership with Statiq marks a significant step forward in strengthening the EV ecosystem for commercial transportation in India. By offering an integrated solution to customers through the industry-leading MyEicher App, we aim to deliver a hassle-free and reliable experience to our customers. This collaboration will also empower Eicher Pro X electric customers with enhanced convenience, confidence, and operational efficiency, accelerating the shift towards sustainable transportation.

Akshit Bansal, CEO & Founder, Statiq, added: “Our partnership with VE Commercial Vehicles is a milestone in our journey to create a strong and efficient EV charging ecosystem for commercial vehicles in India. By integrating our expansive charging network with VECV’s MyEicher, we aim to provide users with a seamless, tech-driven charging experience that removes barriers to EV adoption. With this initiative, we are committed to enabling a smoother, faster transition to electric mobility for commercial vehicle operators.

To further enhance the user experience, VECV and Statiq will jointly establish a robust support ecosystem, including call centre access, service ticket management, troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing maintenance services. A dedicated Point of Contact (POC) system will be jointly implemented. Statiq will also identify and highlight charging hubs with adequate infrastructure and parking on MyEicher, catering to all product segments.

The partnership also aims to bolster India’s EV ecosystem by executing turnkey projects covering the installation, operation, and maintenance of charging stations. Additionally, shared infrastructure, mobile charging options, and revenue-sharing models for channel partners hosting charging stations will be introduced.

This strategic collaboration between VECV and Statiq is poised to reshape India’s commercial EV landscape, making charging infrastructure more efficient, reliable, and accessible, and playing a pivotal role in accelerating EV adoption across the nation.
