LG Sets Q1 2025 Revenue Record at KRW 22.7 Trillion

LG Electronics has reported preliminary first-quarter earnings for 2025, posting a record-high consolidated revenue of KRW 22.7 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 1.3 trillion. This marks the first time LG鈥檚 Q1 revenue has crossed the KRW 22 trillion mark.

The growth was attributed to the company鈥檚 emphasis on 鈥渜ualitative growth鈥 with strong performance in B2B sectors. LG's Eco Solution (ES) business was a key revenue and profit driver, supported by subscription services, webOS-based content, and direct-to-consumer sales. Operating profit surpassed KRW 1 trillion for the sixth consecutive year, driven by higher-margin businesses, efficient resource allocation, and lower logistics and raw material costs. The home appliance division led global markets with premium offerings, while LG's subscription business continues to expand globally. LG鈥檚 2025 TV lineup introduced AI features and its vehicle solutions arm, including LG Magna e-Powertrain, is advancing in-vehicle technologies. Meanwhile, LG鈥檚 HVAC business now operates independently, securing international contracts and aiming to become a core B2B pillar.
