Air India, Kenya Airways Sign Codeshare Agreement

Air India and Kenya Airways have entered into a codeshare partnership to enhance connectivity between India and Africa. This agreement builds on their existing interline arrangement, allowing passengers to travel seamlessly using a single ticket and a unified baggage policy.
Under the codeshare, Air India will place its 鈥楢I鈥� code on Kenya Airways鈥� twice-daily flights between Nairobi and Mumbai, offering onward connections via Mumbai to destinations including Bangkok, Colombo, Dhaka, Male, Melbourne, and Singapore. Additionally, passengers flying from Nairobi to Delhi with Air India can access multiple domestic and international destinations via Delhi.
Kenya Airways will, in turn, place its 鈥楰Q鈥� code on Air India-operated flights between Nairobi and Delhi, facilitating smoother travel for passengers from Africa to India. The interline agreement further enables seamless travel across 28 African cities鈥攊ncluding Accra, Addis Ababa, Dar Es Salaam, Johannesburg, and Cape Town鈥攁nd 15 Indian cities such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
Both airlines plan to expand the codeshare network to include more destinations in the future.
