Dhindsa: Chandumajra to boost aviation industry

Former finance minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa campaigned in Sohana, Mohali, on behalf of Anandpur Sahib SAD candidate Prem Singh Chandumajra.

Dhindsa expressed that Chandumajra, being consistently available to local residents and understanding their needs, deserved the voters' support. He pointed out that the SAD had worked hard to establish an international airport in Mohali and that voters should give Chandumajra another chance to secure international flights to boost the local industry.

Dhindsa also highlighted that the SAD had introduced multiple schemes for the welfare of poor people and had driven infrastructure development in the state while also working to boost industry.

Meanwhile, Chandumajra conducted several meetings in Mohali, including in Gigemajra, Balongi, and Kumbaran. He accused the AAP of planning to approve the construction of the SYL canal. He claimed that AAP would soon give the go-ahead for the SYL canal construction if it remained in power, noting that CM Bhagwant Mann's soft stance during several rounds of meetings with the Haryana chief minister and a Union minister was clear evidence of this.

Chandumajra reiterated that Punjab does not have any water to spare and thus there was no question of releasing water to Haryana.
