Navi Mumbai International Airport acquires necessary land parcel

The construction of the Navi Mumbai International Airport has reached a significant milestone. According to reports, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has bought all of the land needed for the project's development. The 3,070 structures in the project area have been evicted by the Maharashtra government's town planning agency.

Churches, communal temples, public and private buildings, schools, and cemeteries were among these buildings. Additionally, all necessary and significant pre-development work in the airport region has been finished by CIDCO.

Considering this achievement Sanjay Mukherjee, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of CIDCO, stated that the collaboration of the PAPs (project-affected individuals) of Navi Mumbai International Airport was crucial to CIDCO's accomplishment of this significant milestone. Clearing the airport location was difficult.

Since then, Adani Enterprises has received the 2,866 acres of property from the town planning body. The latter is in charge of developing the Navi Mumbai International Airport project as the concessionaire.
