About 17 infrastructure projects to be inaugurated in Varanasi

On his two-day visit to Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reportedly be launching nearly 17 infrastructure projects. In a statement issued by the government, the projects launched by the Prime Minister pay equal attention to all sectors including infrastructure, textiles, finance, railways, sanitation and animal husbandry.

The 17 projects to be launched include inauguration of the Phase-2 of a trade facilitation centre for weavers and handicraft workers in Bada Lalpur; inauguration of Utkarsh Bank’s services; inauguration of Balua-Ghat bridge and Ramnagar-Samne Ghat Bridge; launching the Mahamana Express that connects Varanasi with Surat and Vadodara; and dedication of Jal Ambulance as well as Jal Shav Vahan to Varanasi.
 
It is known that foundation stones of six projects will also be laid, which include the Ramna Sewage Treatment Plant in Varanasi.
