Bilaspur road project in limbo

The Raipur-Bilaspur road widening project is in troubled waters with 200 people opposing the land acquisition for six-laning a stretch in the route. The proposed road will have six lanes from Raipur to Simga, while the remaining route (Simga to Bilaspur) will be of four lanes. Large scale land acquisition is to be done for the project, which is being undertaken at a cost of around Rs 1,300 crore. The government had called for objections to the project against which 200 applications were received on the very first day.

Dassault To Build Falcon Jets In India With Reliance
