Delhi-Gurgaon highway to get three more lanes

DS Constructions, the toll-maintaining agency at Delhi-Gurgaon highway, is constructing three additional lanes in the route to avoid traffic jams at the Sirhaul Toll. The work is expected to be completed within 15 days. The additional three lanes will ease congestion by about 25 per cent. With this, the total number of lanes on the Delhi side will increase to 19, while the total number of lanes on both sides will increase to 35. In future, DS Constructions plans to add 10 to 12 lanes on both the sides.
