Bhopal PWD will begin a special campaign for maintaining roads

In order to repair damaged roads in the Bhopal Capital Region, the Public Works Department have begun a seven-day special campaign from Monday. To ensure that the campaign is carried out effectively, nodal officials have been selected for each road.

Earlier, starting on July 23, nodal officers visited the capital and finished the survey work of the damaged and flooded highways.

All of the roads in the Public Works Department Division and the Rajdhani Project would be well-maintained, according to department principal secretary Neeraj Mandloi. In this regard, a special gathering of nodal officers took place on Monday at Nirman Bhawan. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the state's Chief Minister, issued directives for the repair of damaged roads during the wet season.Gopal Bhargava, PWD Ministe, has consequently directed departmental staff to launch a special push to maintain Bhopal's roadways.
