In the next two years, Jharkhand's first transport nagar will be built on 40 acre of land on Ranchi's outskirts to reduce traffic congestion and improve the city's supply chain for commodities. Transporters won't have to wait for a long time to enter the city because trucks can simply access the transport nagar, a parking lot for large vehicles, while avoiding the state capital's main thoroughfares. Due to the high volume of traffic during such hours, entry of heavy trucks is forbidden in Ranchi city from 8 am to 10 pm every day. An expansive project has begun construction on 40.68 acre of land in Ranchi's Kanke block's Sukurhuttu neighbourhood. Earlier this month, KMV Projects, a company based in Hyderabad, began building. Once finished, it will reduce city traffic and provide long-term assistance to suppliers in supply chain management. It is being designed to accommodate 424 trucks, including 141 light goods carriers, 93 extra large trailers, and 190 large trailers. A fuel station, two warehouses, an integrated structure, and recreational areas would also be built in the transit nagar.
