NHAI launches Rajmargyatra app for enhanced highway experience

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) announced a significant stride towards enriching the highway user experience with the introduction of the Rajmargyatra mobile application.

As per an official statement by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, this user-centric app represents a notable leap in providing travellers with extensive insights into Indian National Highways, along with an effective mechanism to address grievances. The app is currently accessible in both Hindi and English languages and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

The Rajmargyatra app encompasses a range of pivotal features aimed at facilitating a more seamless highway journey. Functioning as a centralised hub, the app offers crucial information for National Highway users.

It delivers real-time weather updates, timely broadcast notifications, and particulars about nearby toll plazas, fuel stations, medical facilities, accommodations, and other essential services, thereby ensuring a secure and uninterrupted voyage on National Highways.

The app integrates a comprehensive complaint resolution and escalation system. Users can effortlessly report highway-related issues, accompanied by geo-tagged videos or images for added clarity. Registered complaints will receive prompt attention, with automatic escalations to higher authorities in case of delays. The app empowers users to track the progress of their complaints to ensure transparency.

Rajmargyatra seamlessly merges its offerings with various banking portals, simplifying tasks such as FASTag recharges, acquiring monthly passes, and other FASTag-associated banking services—all accessible through a unified platform.

The app incorporates features like notifications for over-speeding and voice guidance, with the aim of promoting safer and more responsible driving habits. The enhancements introduced by the Rajmargyatra app are designed to establish a user-friendly and streamlined experience for highway users. By providing extensive information, efficient complaint resolution, and integrated services such as FASTag management, the app strives to nurture safer and more enjoyable journeys on Indian National Highways.
