Niraj Cement's JV Wins Rs 1.15 Billion NHAI Contract

Niraj Cement Structurals has announced that its joint venture, Niraj-SPPL JV, has been awarded a construction contract worth Rs 1.15 billion by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). The announcement was made after market hours on 28 March 2025.

The project involves the construction of five Vehicular Underpasses (VUPs) at specific locations鈥擪m 434+150, Km 452+150, Km 456+000, Km 462+670, and Km 466+270鈥攁long with a flyover at Km 442+610, including approach roads. The work is part of the Puintola to Icchapuram section of NH-16 in Odisha and will be carried out on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis. The contract is set for completion within 12 months.

Niraj Cement Structurals specializes in infrastructural services and has reported strong financial performance in the latest quarter. In Q3 FY25, the company recorded a consolidated net profit of Rs 20.17 million, reflecting a 65.6 per cent increase compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year. However, revenue from operations declined by 5.4 per cent to Rs 1.19 billion during the same period.
