The Pragati Maidan Integrated Transit Corridor Project's main tunnel and five underpasses were dedicated to the country by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
An essential component of the Pragati Maidan Redevelopment Project is the Integrated Transit Corridor project.
The Prime Minister described the initiative as a significant contribution from the Central Government to the residents of Delhi while addressing the audience. According to him, this tunnel is a part of the effort to update Pragati Maidan to meet modern requirements.
PM Modi said it was difficult to finish the project because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the heavy traffic. He gave employees, engineers, and New India's new work ethic credit for finishing the project. The Prime Minister declared that this is a New India that addresses the issues, adopts new vows, and works diligently to accomplish those pledges.
For the first time, the Prime Minister emphasised how important it is for any administration to prioritise large-scale urban planning. From the urban middle class to the urban poor, improvements are being made to the amenities available to everyone.
He said that the nation is establishing multimodal connections thanks to the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan's vision.
Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, said that the Pragati Maidan Integrated Transit Corridor Project has been finished as a result of Prime Minister Modi's commitment to Ease of Living.
He added that the tunnel is a great example of AatmaNirbhar Bharat since it was entirely built and designed by our engineers. Utility moving alone costs Rs 32 crores.
He said that they have implemented a systematic change in integrated planning and execution of the civil works during its development.
Shri Goyal said Prime Minister Modi gave India a seat at the top table in the international community, citing India's success at the just ended WTO 12th Ministerial Conference, where India championed the cause of the Developing and Under-Developed countries.
He informed that the respect that Indians currently relish throughout the globe is a sign of a New and Aatma Nirbhar India that is emerging as the voice of the world.
