Rs 120 bn project development in Gorakhpur in 1 st year CM’s 2 nd stint

A significant portion of the budget was used for projects involving road connectivity, water purification, and drainage in order to construct world-class infrastructure and public facilities. In March 2022, CM Yogi was re-elected as Chief Minister, and ever since May 2022, he has given Gorakhpur gifts of development. Throughout the past year, CM Yogi has attended the inauguration ceremonies and laid the foundation stone for numerous development projects.

About 61 development projects worth Rs 331.6 million were inaugurated on May 15 while the foundation stone was laid for 21 projects worth Rs 1113.3 million, according to government sources.

He opened and laid the foundation stone for Rs 1440 million of infrastructure development projects on the same day. On July 12, CM Yogi laid the foundation for development projects worth Rs 1650 million and Rs 2990 million, respectively. On July 14, he dedicated the Rs 60 million Mansarover Temple as well as Rs 16.4 million Mansarover Ramlila Maidan beautification project. He dedicated and laid the foundation stone for 422 development projects worth Rs 1250 million on August 3.

The Rs 1940 million bridge at Kamariya Ghat was opened by CM on August 18; the Mahant Avaidyanath Stadium and Auditorium were opened by CM Yogi on September 26. On October 18, Yogi laid the foundation stone for Rs 2159.7 million Nagar Nigam development projects and Rs 628.4 million GDA development work. On October 19, he dedicated the Unwal bypass road and Rs 21.2 million Nagar Panchayat Sangrampur structure. On the occasion of Diwali on October 24, the CM officially inaugurated and laid the foundation for 288 development projects worth Rs 80 crore alongside members of the Vantangia and Mushar communities.
