Tender issued for NH-208 Khowai-Teliamura-Harina section's two-laning

It was announced that the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has issued a tender for the widening of the Khowai-Teliamura-Harina section of NH-208 (Package-II) in Tripura under JICA ODA Loan Phase-6.

It was stated that the two-laning with paved shoulder would be extended from the existing kilometre 438.170 (Khowai Chowmuhani) to the existing kilometre 439.410 (South Pulinpur) of NH-08, and from the design kilometre 0.000 (South Pulinpur) to the design kilometre 36.00 (near Rangamati) of NH 208 on the Khowai-Teliamura-Harina section, covering a total length of 37.24 kilometres on EPC mode.

The estimated cost was mentioned to be Rs 3.31 billion.

It was informed that the construction timeline for the contract was set at 24 months, and it also included a maintenance period of five years.

It was specified that the deadline for submitting the bid was 3 August, 2023.
