VMC seeks larger plots, better road

VMC (Vadodara Municipal Corporation) has made suggestions to ensure benefits from the two town planning (TP) schemes coming up in the city’s Tarsali area. The civic body is reportedly looking to have larger plots and better road alignment. The drafts had been sent to the state government in 2015 and cleared by the state government in 2016.

The civic body has sought vacant plots in the schemes instead of encroached ones and has suggested that the road lines should be aligned with the roads of schemes adjoining the Tarsali TP schemes.

VMC has been getting plots reserved for various purposes in these schemes, however, these have been small and scattered. Instead, the civic body has sought larger plots in its suggestions.
