Hyderabad Metro Phase 2 Adds Six New Stations on LB Nagar Hayathnagar Route

The 7.1 km LB Nagar to Hayathnagar Metro line, part of the ongoing Hyderabad Metro Phase 2 expansion, will include the construction of six new stations. This development marks a significant step in enhancing the city's public transit system.

Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMRL) shared a list of the new stations that will be established as part of Metro Phase 2 in Hyderabad. Among the proposed stations are Hayathnagar, Lecturers' Colony, RTC Colony, Autonagar, Vanasthalipuram, and Chintalkunta. These names and locations are provisional and may change.

The LB Nagar Hayathnagar Metro expansion will improve connectivity across the city, facilitating easier travel for commuters between the north-west and south-east parts of Hyderabad. This extension will bring the network closer to 50 kilometers, adding to the existing Miyapur-Patancheru (13.4 km) and Miyapur-LB Nagar (29 km) lines, offering faster and more convenient travel options.

HMRL highlighted that the new routes, which are part of the Hyderabad Metro project set for completion in 2025, will significantly streamline transit across the city and provide easy access to key areas.
