Indian Railways integrates 15 stations in Kashmir with WiFi facility

Indian Railways, on June 20, integrated all 15 railway stations in Kashmir, including Srinagar's stations, with the WiFi network.
The public WiFi RailWire was established by RailTel, which is now available in all the 15 railway stations in Kashmir.
Stations Baramula, Pattan, Hamre, Mazhom, Budgam, Pampore, Srinagar, Kakapora, Sadura, Avantipura, Anantnag, Panzgam, Bijbehara, Qazigund, and Banihal are the 15 railway stations that have four headquarters in Srinagar, Banihal, Qazigund, and Budgaon. The WiFi was already available at the 15 railway stations in the Union Territory of Jammu.
Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways, cited WiFi as an important aspect in connecting people. The internet facility is also forming a digital bridge rapidly between urban and rural India.
On World WiFi Day, 14 railway stations, including Srinagar, became a part of the world's largest integrated public WiFi network. It connects more than 6,000 railway stations. Now the Kashmir Valley railway stations have a public WiFi facility.
According to him, the WiFi network at the stations will be available to the ones having a smartphone with a working mobile connection for KYC considerations. Accessing the WiFi connects communities and also opens up a world for growth and innovation.
