Initially planned as a three-kilometer Noapara-Dum Dum Cantonment stretch, it secured CRS approval. However, the phase was extended by four kilometers, with a CRS inspection scheduled for April for the Dum Dum Cantonment鈥揃imanbandar stretch. Six escalators, four lifts, and two emergency staircases for smooth passenger movement. A 17,497-square-meter stabling yard with seven tracks, located 300 meters from the station.
