The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has solicited bids to produce and supply 108 new coaches (rolling stock) for the 15.18 km Line-6 (Pink Line) project of Mumbai Metro. The line is being developed by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and is expected to be completed by 2023. The line will run from Swami Samarth Nagar (Lokhandwala) in the western suburbs of Andheri to Vikhroli in the eastern suburbs of Mumbai. The line will have 13 stations, including Swami Samarth Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Jogeshwari (West), JVLR, Shyam Nagar, Mahakali Caves, SEEPZ Village, Saki Vihar, Rambaug, Powai Lake, IIT Powai, Kanjur Marg, and Vikhroli (EEH).
