MMRDA unveils longest steel deck on Mumbai Trans Harbour Link

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) accomplished a significant milestone by successfully launching the longest orthotropic steel deck, weighing as much as six large-sized aircraft, on the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link.

A material is said to be orthotropic if its mechanical or thermal properties are distinct and independent in three mutually perpendicular directions.
