RVNL-URCC JV Starts Casting Segments for Indore Metro’s Package IN-04

The construction of Indore Metro Phase 1 advanced as the Rail Vikas Nigam � URC Construction (RVNL � URCC) joint venture began casting the box segments for Package IN-04. This package spans 5.2 km from Shaheed Bagh to Palasia Chauraha, covering five stations. Each segment cast by the JV is 8.5 metre wide and 2.1 metre tall. These segments will be used to construct the viaduct connecting the elevated stations under this package. RVNL � URCC secured Package IN-04 from the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (MPMRCL) for Rs 5.43 billion in March 2024. The scope of work for this package involves the construction of five elevated stations along the Yellow Line, which will span 31.55 km and connect Palasia, Railway Station, Rajwara, Airport, and Bhawarsala via 30 elevated and underground stations. The stations covered under this package are: � Shaheed Bagh � Khajrana Chauraha � Bengali Chauraha � Patrakar Colony � Palasia Chauraha This package represents the fourth civil package on the main line and the fifth overall package for Indore Metro’s Yellow Line. Currently, the technical bid evaluation is underway for Package IN-05R, which will cover an 8.626 km underground section of the Yellow Line.
