The passage also connects key locations, including Sealdah Court and BR Singh Hospital, providing greater accessibility for both daily commuters and emergency services. Timely Commissioning to Support Metro Expansion The subway鈥檚 launch aligns with the ongoing expansion of the East-West Metro, currently running between Sector V and Sealdah, with an extension to Howrah Maidan in the pipeline. With rising metro usage, the new passage is a crucial addition, facilitating seamless intermodal connectivity.
